We are excited to welcome Sarah Segesdy, certified Health & Wellness Coach, yoga instructor, and Level II USATF Certified Running Coach for a weekly wellness series! Join us every Tuesday in October for a different topic:

10/1: Fueling the body both pre-post workout - Bonking on long runs? Fatigued muscles that won't loosen up? Suffering from GI distress during or after a run? Learn the proper ways to fuel your body before a run and after a run. There is no one size fits all model. Let me show you how to take charge and find what works for you!

10/8: Preventing Lower Leg Injuries - A majority of runners are injured every year and many of these injuries are shin splints, tight calf muscles, tight or pulled hamstrings, or foot pain. If you suffer from any of these or want to learn how to incorporate prevention into your routine - this is the talk for you!

10/15: Rest and Recovery Days - Runners have a hard time slowing down and often find workouts with a low cardio threshold "boring" or leave them feeling like they need to go workout. If your heart rate is more elevated than normal, if your muscles are tight/sore/fatigued, if you struggle to lace up and get out the door then this is the talk for you!

10/22: Take your training to the next level - It's one thing to go out for long runs several days a week for a similar mileage but if you are interested in taking your training to the next level and to put some PRs on the board this fall/spring season, its imperative that you add hill work, speed work, and cross training to your routine. Let me show you how!
