Join Wellness for the Culture as we embark on our journey to eliminate cultural stigma and increase healing in our community. 

Wellness for the Culture Expo is about coming to learn about your mental health and gathering some healthy coping skills. Coping skills whether they be dance, art, poetry, reading, mindfulness and yoga. The event will have Special guests such as Laurice Jiggetts, founder of The Movement Project, Darlene Brandon, Master Poet out of CT, Phoenix Soulfire, artist and Yoga Instructor, and Tatiana Forero Puerta, author of Yoga for the Wounded Heart.

There will be vendors, workshops, a book reading, and poetry, mindfulness/yoga and dancing. 

So wear your comfy clothes and come with an open mind and heart!

Wellness for the Culture, LLC

Whitney Dodds is the founder of Wellness for the Culture, LLC, a mental health practice in Springfield, Ma. Whitney is passionate about the well-being of people; While completing the licensing process, she is currently reaching people through the book club, writing, and speaking. Her desire to begin building her practice is derived from witnessing the cultural needs of her community. Whitney's mission is to motivate, uplift, and educate people through mental health services and education. Her approach is tailor made to encourage engagement, within her community, all the while dismantling the cultural stigma that hinders black and brown people from receiving treatment.
