Event description

Description

A strong, flexible core is essential to almost everything we do. Your core muscles help control your movements when performing everyday tasks like housework, yardwork, routine exercise and participating in recreational activities. In this presentation, you will learn through a brief discussion the following: anatomy of the core, common problems related to a weak or inadequate core and how physical therapy can help. A majority of the presentation will be an interactive portion and will be focused on performing exercises for stretching, spinal flexibility and basic core stabilization. Please come dressed in comfortable clothes. Mats will be available.
