Every month we hold our monthly WELL Wednesday at Skewers in downtown Modesto! We are thrilled to have the owner of Underground Kitche, Greens on 10th and Greens Table, Ann Endsley as our speaker this month.
Ann Endsley is originally from Alameda, is a fourth generation graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and resided in San Francisco before marrying Dr. Stephen Endsley and moving to Modesto. Ann also attended Cambridge University, England, and graduated with honors in both History and Legal Studies. Ann worked for a Real Estate Investment Trust in San Francisco and subsequently founded her own consulting business working in the real estate syndication field.
After moving to Modesto, Ann raised three children; Mary Elizabeth (M.E.) 23, Andrew 21 and Blair 18. She served on several non-profit boards such as Community Hospice, Central West Ballet, St. Stanislaus Parish School and St. Stanislaus Church. Ann was one of the original trustees of the Gallo Center for the Arts.
In 2006 Ann started Four Seasons Farms, an nursery and organic farm in west Modesto. In 2012 she founded Greens Market which featured organic product from her farm and other local farms. Greens sold many local artisan products, homemade prepared food, bakery items and gelato. In 2013 Greens expanded to include Greens Table and Greens on Tenth as well as Greens Events and Catering. She recently renovated and joined 947 Tenth Street to the original Greens on Tenth Street to create a new downtown event venture. Ann's newest venture is Underground Kitchen which is enables customers to order Green's fresh, homemade food for pick up or delivery.
Ann's hobbies are travel, cooking and cookbooks, gardening, design, family and yellow labrador retrievers.
