Wonder what tools, technique, and information is needed to weld? This orientation is the way to begin!
Welding can be a dangerous process and involves years of practice to do well. However, by learning some important guidelines and developing some basic habits, you can learn a skill that is a pivotal in building our modern world as we know it. Essentially fusing two pieces of metal together, welding is used to build nearly everything around us.
If you are a Forge member, this is a required class to gain access to the welding area. If you are just curious about the Forge welding area, or the Forge makerspace in general, you can join just by donating to our nonprofit.
Class is taught by Sean Kellogg, a welder certified through GTCC's reputable welding program. He currently is employed as a journeyman pipe welder, and travel the country welding.
