The 2000s–the decade that brought us questionable content on MySpace, low-rise jeans, and the allure of the pink Motorola Razr sandwiched between the war on terror and the global financial crisis. Welcome to the Aughts serves as an homage to the nostalgia of the decade through the vision of fiber artists while noting the trauma caused by the American cultural sphere. “That’s hot.”

Welcome to the Aughts features the work of Kristina Fjellman, Samael Leopold-Sullivan, Emma MacLean, Arnée Martin, Natalie Novacek, Chloe Russell Chang, Emily Sannini, Shannon Twohy, and Mikayla Vavreck-Sindt
