Welcome to Flo’s Kitchen!

In this 10-week workshop series, Ms. Flo aka da BoZzLady will share 10 Jamaican recipes from her kitchen to yours with lots of love!

About Ms. Flo:

Through her hobby turned home based business of four years, Ms. Flo has become a local food celebrity in Boston. Mostly popular for sharing mouthwatering photos of her delicious Jamaican recipes, creative cooking tips and frequent selfies, she has built an impressive online following.

Join Ms. Flo as she continues her food movement, sharing her passion for cooking while inspiring others to get in the kitchen and create wholesome meals with lots of love.

Recipe offerings: Each recipe will be prepared to serve four.

  • Soup (Ital/Vegetable or Chicken Noodle)
  • Rice & Peas (Red Kidney Beans or “Gungo” Pigeon Pea)
  • Brown Stew Chicken (Leg Quarters chopped)
  • Curry Chicken (Leg Quarters chopped)
  • Festival & Fried Dumpling
  • Fried Fish - Escovitch Style
  • Potato Salad & Tuna Pasta Salad
  • Jerk Chicken

Workshop Details:

In class sizes of four, participants will work at individual stations using gas burners to prepare one of nine recipes under the supervision and instruction of Ms. Flo. Our jerk chicken session will be an outdoor session as participants will prepare the recipe on a grill. All necessary cookware and food supplies are provided and each recipe will be prepared to serve four. Upon completion participants will take home a printed copy of Ms. Flo’s recipe, the prepared food packaged in tuber ware and a small assortment of seasonings to add to their cooking cabinet.

Each workshop occurs from 1:00-3:00pm and is scheduled to last up to two hours. Tickets cost $100/person per workshop, each participant is allowed to bring one guest. Refunds will only be issued if the workshop is cancelled (no exceptions). Participants must be 21+.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Participants must be 21+. All participants must present a valid ID.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The venue is conveniently located in Jamaica Plain near the MBTA Stony Brook Station. It’s about a 5 min walk from the T station.

Public Transportation:

Take the MBTA Orange Line to Stony Brook

  • Head west on Boylston St
  • Turn right onto Danforth St


On street parking is available. Participants are also welcome to use the parking lot located on the left side of the building.

What's the refund policy?

All sales are final. Refunds will only be issued if the workshop is cancelled (no exceptions).

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

No. The ticket purchased is only valid for the date and event on the ticket.
