Event Information
About this event
Weight Loss 4 Life (WL4L) is a long-term, research-based weight management program supervised by CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center (AHWC) endocrinologists and led by registered dietitians.
WL4L Ongoing Support is designed for those who have already started or would like to sustain or progress their past weight loss efforts, and are looking for continued guidance and accountability in a group setting. With an emphasis on lasting behavior change, classes include a group check-in, monthly topic and discussion. Classes meet virtually every other week on Tuesdays for 50 minutes each, and you enroll for six (6) sessions at a time, which gives you the chance to connect more deeply with a community experiencing similar challenges and a built-in support group invested in your big-picture success.

FAQs:
Is this a diet?
WL4L is not a diet but is compatible with various diets you may already be following. Using general principles around weight loss, mindset, health, and nutrition science, this group adds support for your journey, regardless of how you got started.
Who is this for?
Anyone who has recently started losing weight or anyone who would like to sustain or continue their weight loss efforts through an ongoing support program. We cover topics that will fit with your experience, whether you're actively losing or trying to maintain your weight loss.
I've already completed WL4L, can I continue signing up for more sessions?
Yes! WL4L is specifically designed for ongoing support—for as long as you need it! No one class or group is alike, so the tools, insight, and overall discussion are unique to each cohort.
