About this event
Weight-normative care focuses on weight and weight loss as indicators of health and well-being. Conversely, weight-inclusive care emphasizes non–weight-based markers of health and well-being and doesn't use body weight as the focal point of treatment or intervention. During this webinar, we will explore applications of weight inclusive care in our society and medical model. We will review the language used in weight-inclusive frameworks and discuss how they can be applied practice.
