About this Event

Join the City of West Hollywood's Arts Division for a WeHo Reads event celebrating National Poetry Month called Lingua Franca. Inspired by Adrienne Rich's Dream of a Common Language, join us for a reading of international poetry by poets from Mexico, Spain, China, Poland, and Russia, among other countries as curated by West Hollywood City Poet Laureate Charles Flowers.

Free Admission.

Free validated parking will be provided in the adjacent 5 story Public/Park Parking structure.

Another National Poetry Month event will take place on April 10 featuring a conversation between the authors of two new poetry collections: Inaugural Poet (for Barack Obama) Richard Blanco’s How to Love a Country and former West Hollywood City Poet Laureate Kim Dower’s Sunbathing on Tyrone Power’s Grave.
