Essential information:

  • This peer support group is for all parents on family journeys who want to get together and share the difficulties of going through the process of separation. To get it out of your chest and support each other.
  • Once every four weeks on a Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00
  • At the George Street centre , 37 George Street, Edinburgh EH2 2HN

Purpose of this group:

A family breakdown can be one of the most dramatic life events. It is heartbreaking and painful for adults but even more complicated when children are involved.

When this is the case, it is crucial to minimize the negative impact on the children and find ways to emotionally and mentally recover.

This group can be for venting, for getting out of the chess what hurts and finding relief in doing so.

But most of all, the group can be a chance to find the best strategies to play our cards in the best way possible, manage our emotions and overcome the difficulties of the challenge.
