Weekend Intensive: Two-Day Cooking 101 Workshop
Sat, Apr 1, 2017, 11:00 AM – Sun, Apr 2, 2017, 3:00 PM EDT
Our two-day hands-on cooking workshops immerse students in Milk Street's approach to cooking. Our first weekend workshop, The Milk Street Way: Cooking 101, begins with a deep dive into our basic techniques. You'll spend Saturday learning about flavor, texture and Milk Street cooking theory; on Sunday, you'll cook recipes that bring those concepts together in one delicious meal.
Saturday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
More two-day intensive workshops are ahead, including courses dedicated to sweet and savory baking, entertaining, fundamental food groups and advanced flavor theory.
We've arranged for special rates at local hotels and bed and breakfasts, so be sure to get in touch if you are visiting from out of town.
This is a hands-on cooking class led by Milk Street instructors Rosemary Gill, Nimco Mahamoud Hassan, Erin Ross, Catherine Smart and Liz Vena.
