Saturday June 10 and Sunday June 11

Join us for two days of cooking the Milk Street Way. Learn our favorite techniques, tricks and tips for clean, simple, bold cooking. On Saturday, we'll introduce you to our cooking theory by exploring approaches to cooking with spices and herbs. On Sunday, we'll develop Saturday's lessons by investigating how to maximize flavor and texture.


Representative recipes for the workshop include: Za'atar Chicken Cutlets with Lemon-Parsley Salad, Georgian Chicken Soup, Tabbouleh, French Carrot Salad, Warm Lentil Salad, and Brown Butter-Cardamom Banana Bread. Recipes subject to change.


Saturday June 10, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sunday June 11, 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.


This is a hands-on cooking class led by Milk Street instructors.

What is the maximum number of students per class?

Different classes have different student/participant caps. Here are general guidelines for maximum student capacity:

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Please note: 177 Milk Street has multiple doors. Ours are the double brown doors, with bowties on them, directly across from 49 India Street.

What can/can't I bring/wear to the event?

Please wear close-toed shoes and tie back long hair. You are welcome to bring a phone or camera.

No pets allowed.


Is this a demo or hands-on cooking class?

This is a hands-on cooking class.


Should I eat a snack before class?

Probably not. In this class we will taste recipes as we cook, and near the end of each class, we also will share a meal of the foods you make during that day's session.


Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes. All students must be 18+ years old. Students 14-17 years old are welcome to participate with an adult guardian or parent.

Is my registration/ticket refundable or transferrable?

Yes. Tickets are refundable up to seven days before an event and transferable to another student at any time. Within seven days of the event, we do not offer refunds.
