ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Tom Stuenkel, Managing Partner of Worksite, LLC

Tom has been developing websites since graduating from Northwestern University in 1996 with a degree in Mathematics. Before starting WorkSite, Tom worked for several IT consulting firms and start-ups. He specialized in Microsoft technologies and website development with an emphasis on web content management. He architected and developed applications for Kraft, Bank One, and CTA, among others. His favorite part of his job is working closely with small business owners and entrepreneurs. He loves learning about their plans, ideas, and challenges. Finding and providing a solution for them is very rewarding.

Kara Buffardi, CEO & Founder of Craveity Marketing, LLC

Kara is a marketing and advertising professional with 8+ years of experience in branding, website creation and digital marketing for small businesses to large national brands. In 2015, Kara founded Craveity Marketing, a digital marketing agency that works with small businesses in good and sustainable food. Kara and the Craveity team bring in years of experience to educate and guide clients on their website, social media and online communications so they can reach their audience and make a greater impact to their communities.

Christian Ambrose, Founder of Capitoline Video Marketing

Christian Ambrose is the founder of Capitoline Video Marketing. He has worked on film, television, and digital media projects across the country. Excited by the possibilities of video for branded media and content marketing, Christian started Capitoline Video Marketing in 2016 to work with individual entrepreneurs, small and local businesses, and startups. Christian works to help business owners unleash the power of video to unleash to uniquely personal medium of video to connect with their customers.

What do I need to bring?

There are hands-on portions of this workshop. Please be sure to bring a laptop and charger. If you'd like to launch your website by the end of the weekend, please also brainstorm a domain name for your site (i.e., yourwebsite.com)

We also recommend that you bring a laptop or notebook to take notes. Free Wi-Fi and outlets are available in the room.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

  • Parking: SearchLab is located near the Irving Park / Ravenswood / Lakeview neighborhoods of Chicago. Street parking is available nearby.
  • CTA: SearchLab is located just a couple of blocks (0.2 miles) from the Irving Park Brown Line stop
  • Metra: SearchLab is located about 1 mile south of the Ravenswood metra stop (Union Pacific North line)

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will have your name on file for check-in.

What's the refund policy?

Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

If you are no longer able to attend but want to transfer your ticket, please contact the organizer at contact@craveitymarketing.com. Supply us with the name of the purchaser and the name of the planned attendee and we will make the change.

Are there any additional costs for this event?
