Help Restore Trail at Matthews/Winters Park!

BACKGROUND:  Jefferson County Open Space will again host several small scale Wednesday projects at a handful of our parks, through November. Locations for some of these projects are subject to change depending on our work flow throughout the year.  The forecast can be unpredictable this time of year so this event will go forward weather permitting.

The Wednesday projects are a chance for us to engage volunteers in a multitude of restoration and construction efforts. Work will focus on restoring crusher fine trail, revegetation work and light trail maintenance.  Jefferson County Open Space staff will also provide training opportunities for volunteers looking to enhance their trail maintenance skills.

MEET US IN THE  MAMMOTH PARKING LOT ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE I-70 7 HWY 40 INTERSECTION. HERE ARE DIRECTIONS;
