Wednesday Breathwork Pick Me Up!

About this event

Need a little pick-me-up or a wind down on Wednesday?

A condensed 30 minute breathwork session to give you a reset and help you release anything that's coming up this week. Just 15 minutes of breathing, it's a pretty easy commitment. (around 30 minutes total it's nice to leave time to relax after).

Breathwork is an active form of meditation using a type of breathing that helps to quiet the mind and allows you to more easily stop the constant chatter of the mind. For those of you have heard of Pranayama Yoga or Wim Hof it's a similar type of breathing.

Practicers of breathwork report that is helps them:

  • release emotions/trauma
  • better know themselves
  • quiet the mind
  • have better clarity
  • cement new goals/habits
  • oxygenate the body
  • can give you a euphoric experience without the use of drugs (it gets you high ).
  • increased endurance
  • It's also a great way to mediate with a group and reset/start/end your day!

Things you may want to bring to the Zoom session:

1) Yoga mat (or comfortable mat to lay on)

2) An Intention/feeling that you want to work on in your life.

Extras:

3) Eye covering (nice to help keep out distraction)

4) Blanket (optional too, but highly suggest it as some people get really cold).

6) Headphones it really helps enhance the experience.

7) Wash Cloth (we are going to scream LOUD!)
