Event description

Description

Do you know how much to budget for alterations? Or what type of undergarment is suited for your dress? What if you have a dress emergency the day of your wedding?

If any of these items concern you, this workshop is perfect. We have invited Deb, a seamstress with decades of bridal experience to join us on this session. She will share with us her knowledge in altering wedding gowns and show us what to look out for when shopping for dresses and considering your budget in mind. End the session with learning how to properly lace a dress, sew a button, and steam different materials!

Key Points:

  • Learn about the importance of having an alteration well done and fitted to your body

  • Consider factors that may contribute to the cost of alterations when dress shopping

  • Find out what you need before starting alterations and the timeline to consider

  • Learn about different undergarments and which to choose for different dress styles

  • Be taught how to properly lace a dress, sew a button, and steam different types of fabrics

Light refreshments and a complimentary gift will be provided.

Please RSVP by June 13. Tickets are limited to ensure workshop sizes are intimate and friendly for Q & A and hands on interactions.
