Website Development Class
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Taught by Lance Brett Hall
Tickets Required to be purchased through Dabble:
Everyone knows you need a website. What can you put together, though, if you can't hire a web developer?
We'll go over some of the services available to those of us who don't want to learn to code. On the way, we'll cover the building blocks of the internet. We'll go over (very!) basic coding that will help you as you get your own site together.
Everyone will walk away with some organization for their new website, a checklist of what they need when they're shopping for a provider, and some tools for creating useful web content.
The life of Lance Brett Hall has followed a typical path: Lance's early interest in high energy physics led to a career in theater. As a nerd in his previous life, and an artist in this one, Lance knows how important it is to have a solid web presence. Lance started coding websites when he studied at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. He went on to study directing and acting coaching under Pulitzer Prize nominee David Feldshuh at Cornell University. His projects since graduating have all involved him building his own websites. He is a member of the charter class of the Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship.
