THIS SEMINAR WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING:
The New HAMP Program - HAMP TIER 2, includes the following changes/enhancements:
- Rental properties will now be covered as long as the property is an actual rental - not a vacant second home.
- Borrowers may now be able to get their new monthly payment reduced as low as 25% of his/her gross monthly income (previously 31% was the lowest).
- Loans that were previously denied due to negative NPV or excessive forbearance. These loans can now be revaluated under the HAMP Tier 2 program guidelines.
- Principal Reductions may now be an option for homeowners homes are is underwater by 15% or more.
- Previously, if a homeowner defaulted on a Trial Period Plan payment, he/she would be no longer eligible to re-apply – however, under HAMP Tier 2, these homeowners may re-appl
