About the webinar:

Mental Health Clinicians today are working with diverse populations that have varied and unique needs. Honing a solid set of essential skills makes for an effective, successful mental health clinician. This webinar is for supervisors, counselors and counselors-in-training. Participants will learn what the research literature states are important dispositions, knowledge and skills for clinicians. Case study examples will be given for each area.

One NBCC clock hour of continuing education can be provided.

The Counselor Education Program at NCCU has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 4495. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Counselor Education Program at NCCU is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
