Storytelling for the Workplace
May 15, 2019

As human beings, we are social creatures and stories are the glue that bonds us! In this webinar, learn how to enliven presentations and conversations with stories. You will:

  • Learn the science behind storytelling and why stories are more effective than data or dry talking points;
  • Develop tools to engage, persuade, and connect with listeners;
  • Recognize elements of well-known stories and translate them into a usable format for the workplace;
  • Begin to curate an arsenal of relevant, authentic stories to use in professional settings.

Join us for the rest of the series too!

March 26, 2019

Whether you’re pitching a new client, delivering meeting talking points to colleagues, or having an interpersonal conversation that makes you nervous, this webinar will give you the tools to connect with your audience. You will:
  • Learn proper stance, body language, and vocal techniques
  • Boost confidence and charisma
  • Understand presentation “pitfalls” and how to avoid them
  • Think outside the box to make presentations more exciting, engaging, and memorable
  • Cultivate strength and warmth to convey yourself as a commanding and approachable woman in the workplace

July 10, 2019

Networking can be a dreaded occasion for many professionals! While it can feel awkward or pushy, it is often necessary and mostly unavoidable. On the bright side, networking often leads to positive new opportunities, with 95% of professionals saying that face-to-face meetings are essential for long-term business relationships. In this webinar, you will learn:
  • How to craft an elevator pitch using connection, credibility, call-to-action;
  • How to begin and end conversations seamlessly;
  • How to leave a positive impression on others;
  • How to engage others.

This webinar series is led by the founders/lead instructors of GoldJam Creative, Allison Goldberg and Jen Jamula. GoldJam Creative creates and customizes communication skills trainings for companies. Trainings are interactive and fun, pulling from a background in comedy and acting, and hard research. Topics range from public speaking to effective communication to tackling gender bias, and clients include Spotify, SoulCycle, Time Warner, Penguin Random House, and American Express. Jen and Alli are also comedians, who were ranked among the “top ten funniest women in NYC” and whose comedy projects have been featured in WIRED, Forbes, Newsweek, Vice, among others. They believe that people learn by doing rather than by being lectured, so they keep group sizes small, participants on their feet, and trainings high-energy and fun.
