Research has proven the power that thinking positively has on one's life.  But there are some critics who contend that positive thinking isn't for everyone.  So is the power of positive thinking real?  How can it improve health and well being, and even provide benefits such as a longer life, lower risk of heart disease, better immune system, better mental health and increased productivity?  How can you tap into the power of positive thinking?  Learn about this power and how you can have a direct impact on health outcomes for yourself and your patients.

Learning Objectives

The goal of this presentation is to educate healthcare providers how positive thinking can not only help heal, but also help prevent health issues from occurring in the first place, both in themselves and in their patients.  This information will also enable the provider to facilitate healthy behaviors in the community through education and modeling.

  Upon completion, participants will be able to do the following:

  1. Define positive thinking

  2.  Identify benefits of positive thinking

  3.  Describe strategies to enhance positive thinking in healthcare providers and patients.

Cynthia Saver, RN, MS, has spent more than 20 years in publishing. She has held senior editorial positions, including executive vice president at Nursing Spectrum, a division of Gannett, Inc., which had a print circulation of nearly one million and two thriving websites. She currently writes and provides other editorial and continuing education services for many leading publishers. Cindy's articles have appeared many national publications, including Nursing Spectrum, OR Manager, Nursing Management, AORN Journal, Journal of Nursing Regulation, and American Nurse Today. Cindy is a dynamic speaker and trainer. She receives rave reviews for programs ranging from improving your brainpower to writing for publication. How to Register/Attend:
  1. Complete the Webinar Pre-Registration Form above.
  2. Receive an email with a link to confirm your “seat” reservation. There are a limited number of seats for each webinar so please be sure to open the email, click the link, and reserve your seat.
