Event Details

The uncertain financial and regulatory climate healthcare agencies are currently facing can make our already stressful jobs that much more challenging. This webinar will review what resilience can teach us about thriving, rather than simply surviving, through change and challenge and how those techniques can support healthy and effective teams.

So many dynamics exist around us that we are simply powerless to change, but we are not helpless to take action on our own behalf.  We can be mindful of the stories we are telling ourselves and each other, compassionately but clearly refuse to engage in team dysfunction, use gratitude to promote compassion satisfaction and team morale, and engage in clear communication to ease anxiety and support cohesion and buy-in.

As overwhelming as it may feel, there are easy, effective, and immediate steps we can take.  This presentation will show you how.

1 CEU included for nurses and social workers.

Webinar participants will be able to:

  • Identify the research behind the tenets of resilience

  • Identify the research about and contributors of compassion fatigue

  • Describe practical ways to leverage that information for the creation of healthier and more productive teams
