Description

The Family Engagement Webinar Series will serve as a venue for educational consultants from the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) and Local Educational Agency (LEA) administrators and staff to share effective practices and strategies to engage families in support of student success. This webinar series is designed for school administrators, teachers, and others interested in learning how Pennsylvania educators are engaging families in an effort to effect student learning.

Partners in Behavior: What Families Need to Know As PBIS Core Team Members May 3, 2018 (1:00 pm - 2:00 pm) Behavioral challenges are not limited to the school setting. Therefore, engaging families as active members of the school team to review data and provide input regarding the implementation of positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) enhances the LEA's efforts in partnering with families. During this webinar, PaTTAN consultants will discuss considerations and strategies for collaborating with families as members of the PBIS core team and ways their collective perspectives and knowledge base can jointly best serve students and targeted PBIS interventions.
