According to Wikipedia, "Crowdfunding, crowd financing, equity crowdfunding, or crowd sourced capital..describes a collective effort by people who..pool their money and resources together via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations." Crowdfunding can be used to fund a startup or existing company, or small business." We will describe new crowdfunding financing options and tools.
This webinar will provide a summary of how philanthropists, investors and businesses can enter the Crowdfunding market. We will also review current developments.
The webinar will be conducted by William Michael Cunningham, a recognized expert in community development and socially responsible investing. He has testified before the House Ways and Means Committee and provided expert testimony on community development issues in Federal Court. Mr. Cunningham has been involved in the provision of online resources to small businesses for over fifteen years, posting his first website in 1995.
