Why this facilitator?

Not your traditional financial planner, Sarah Sprague Gerber runs her own fee-only financial planning and coaching firm, Momentum Financial Planning LLC. Her firm is focused on helping early career professionals and millennials build financial momentum through holistic financial coaching programs. Bringing both her personal finance and product management expertise to the profession, Sarah inspires young professionals to get started right with their finances early in their careers before they’ve built up the money for a traditional financial planner.

After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical-Biological Engineering and Biology, Sarah quickly discovered she needed to take control of her own personal finances and realized that others needed help too. Driven to learn more, she completed the UC Berkeley Extension Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning in 2018 and then passed the CFP(R) exam, obtained her AFC(R), and worked virtually for another fee-only firm, Flow Financial Planning, LLC.

Sarah is passionate about breaking down barriers to ensure everyone has access to financial planning and financial education resources. She aims to transform money from a tough topic into a strong foundation for all. She also loves running, rock climbing, and reading!
