This webinar will cover historic uses of native plants including uses by the Ute people.

Trainer: Susan Carter is the Horticulture Agent and Native Plant Master Leader for the Tri River Area covering 4 counties. Her main office is in Grand Junction where there is also a collaborative garden called the Ute Learning Garden. The garden contains Native Plants of the Grand Valley from different life zones. Tours are given by docents on topics such as how the plants where used by the Ute People and what animals live in the different life zones.
