Event description

This webinar will dig into personal branding and the role image and appearance plays. This is not about looks or beauty, but appearance as part of an overall executive presence. Your personal brand is all about perceptions and the clothes you wear play a key role in those perceptions, both internally and externally. With only seven seconds to make a first impression, and 55 percent of that being nonverbal, how you present yourself is extremely important, especially in the professional space.

This is sure to be an empowering, optimistic and inclusive presentation that goes beyond fashion (although that will be a key part) and aims to motivate while educating. After the webinar you'll leave with:

  • A clear understanding of executive presence, the role image plays in establishing it and why it's important
  • Understand the power of the clothes you wear and how they influence internal and external perceptions
  • A new approach to your wardrobe and how you get dressed in the morning, with confidence.

Lili Morton recently made a cross-country move from NYC to Seattle to work as Community Development Director for high-tech wardrobe rental startup, Armoire, and she brings over 12 years of business and fashion experience to the team. Morton is a graduate of the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University, and has held various roles in E-commerce sales, marketing, customer relations, and the nonprofit sector, giving her a multi-faceted perspective on both professional and non-professional style.

Before applying her powerful business acumen to Armoire, Morton co-founded FirstSeven, a corporate personal branding and image-consulting firm, focused on empowering professionals to improve their performance by upgrading their image. From lawyers and accountants, to members of the media, to busy moms, Morton has worked with an incredible variety of women, and has taught them to perceive their attire as an extension of themselves--thereby helping them achieve at an elevated level. Morton is passionate about accentuating the role of clothing and style in helping women get the job, secure the promotion, close the sale--and simply feel great about themselves.
