This four-week series is for the working professional who is thinking about starting a business, the hobbyist who is not sure if their passion will generate income, or the person who wants to start a business, but does not have an idea of what to sell, or a person who knows what they want to sell, but is not sure if their product or service is an income generator. Sessions will include media learning tools and hands on activities.

Prerequisites:
- A genuine dedication to completing and participating in all four weeks of the series
- The attendee has not operated a business, or has been operating a year or less
- Willingness to complete activities and participate with the group

Brigette Kidd is an experienced consultant, trainer, and project manager specializing in small business coaching, professional development, startups, business plans, and project management. She has lead over 250 employees and managed high-value assets in collaboration with private, nonprofit, and governmental partnerships. Her corporate background includes; entertainment, transportation, technology, and for-profit education. Brigette holds a Master's of Communication from the USC Annenberg School of Communications & Journalism and a bachelor's degree from the USC Marshall School of Business. Some past projects include; the California State University of San Bernandino, Girls in Tech, FAME, USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative, Central Avenue Historic District-BID, Smithsonian Folklife Festival Aids Quilt Mobile Application, and 2012 White House Data Palooza.
