  LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The goal of this webinar is to describe and examine empathy.

Upon completion, participants will be able to do the following: 

1. Define empathy and differentiate it from sympathy

2. Identify how to practically empathize with patients and colleagues

3. Discuss how to emotionally care for self while being emotionally present for others

Kati Kleber, BSN, RN, CCRN

Kati Kleber, BSN, RN, CCRN, is a nationally certified critical nurse. She is the author of ANA's Admit One and the self-published Becoming Nursey. Kleber is a blogger and podcaster on top nursing trends. Kleber was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as "2015 Nurse of the Year." A recipient of the Great 100 Nurses of North Carolina award, Kleber has also been featured across a number of media outlets, including CNN, The Dr. Oz show, U.S. News, The TODAY Show and many more.

The complainant will receive a response from the Executive Vice President, OnCourse Learning, Education Programming and Credentialing, or designated staff within 5 working days.

How to Register/Attend:
  1. Complete the Webinar Pre-Registration Form above. You will then receive an email from EventBrite confirming that you registered for this webinar.
