About this event

Do you avoid having difficult conversations at work? It's important for leaders to be comfortable giving constructive feedback to their teams and direct reports. Learn how you can effectively have difficult conversations in the workplace without shying away from them.

This talk will enable leaders to create a safe space for both parties to feel safe, provide tips on how to prepare for the meetings, and provide strategies around types of uneasy conversations.

Why this facilitator?

LaShawnda Rodgers is a resident of North Carolina where she resides with her loving husband and her 3 amazing boys. She is a Founder, Executive Leadership Coach, and Organizational Leadership Consultant at Rodgers Global Leadership Consortium. LaShawnda is passionate about creating equal opportunities for others and helping them to achieve their goals. As the Founding Member of valence BONDS, she collaborates with other leaders to gain effective strategies to increase african american representation in the board room and upper leadership roles. LaShawnda is also the Vice President of Community Outreach for Blacks in Technology. LaShawnda is also a Founding Member of Tech Ladies, Digital Undivided Accelerator Alumni, and First Flight Propeller Alumni.

When LaShawnda is not giving back she can be found in Thought Leadership and speaking at Conferences on Diversity, Future of Work Mindset, Technology, and Leadership. She has been a speaker with Northwestern Mutual Leading the Way Conference, HireBlack Summit 2022, PowerToFly Diversity Summit, and PowerToFly Chat&Learn Session just to name a few.
