The CIE/USA-DFW Chapter is proud to unveil our WEBINAR event for the 2021 Spring Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP), "Be a Resilient Leader". Admission is free but advance registration is required. Webinar details will be provided via email after registration and before the event starts. The 2021 Leadership Assessment and Mentoring Program (LAMP) event will be conducted by successful and experienced leaders within the Dallas area. LAMP is one of the long-standing CIE/USA-DFW events featuring "Leadership" and "Career Mentoring" for young professionals. This event is especially designed for graduating university students and young professionals who desire to enhance their knowledge and hand-on experience on hiring process, career development, corporate culture, and leadership. After the speakers have presented, a QA panel discussion will be conducted for those who may have questions.

He is the recipient of number of industry awards including IEEE CQR Chairman’s Award, CIO 100 Award, CIE AAEOY Award, and currently holds 53 patents. Alex Machoka has worked at Oncor Electric delivery in Texas since May 2005 and is currently Senior Director in Transmission Operations. Alex started with Oncor in 2005 as a Transmission Protection and Control technician where he worked on substation system protection and relay maintenance. In 2009, after attaining an MBA from University of Dallas, he joined Oncor’s leadership development program and was an assistant manager in the vegetation management group where he managed storm restoration response, utility vegetation management program. Since then, he’s had multiple leadership roles at Oncor with the most recent role prior to current role as the distribution operations director for Dallas Metro region.
