10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors provides in-depth information and discussion about the importance of an organization’s relationships with its grantors in securing, maintaining, and receiving additional grant funding.

10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors is taught by Diane H. Leonard, a grantwriting consultant with more than ten years of experience, including as a program officer for a statewide public foundation. 10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors will help you to be more competitive in the grant seeking process and assist you in increasing your success ratio.

10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors will cover the following broad topics:
• Importance of funder relationships in securing funding
• Importance of a funder’s perception of your organization’s capacity for grant funding
• Importance of leveraging dollars

10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors will provide detailed information and insight for participants about:
• How to be creative in reporting to grantors
• How to keep grantors abreast of program and be their primary source for information
• How to maintain seamless communication with grantors

10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors is designed to be beneficial for the individual(s) in nonprofit organizations who are primarily responsible for grantwriting/foundation relations be they a grantwriter, development director, program director, or executive director. 10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors is also designed to be appropriate for other nonprofit staff including financial or programmatic who work in collaboration with the staff primarily responsible for grantwriting as this class provides information on how all parties involved in grant implementation and reporting are key to improving an organization’s relationship with its grantors.

A recent class participant had the following to say about workshops provided by Diane H. Leonard of DH Leonard Consulting: "Diane has established herself as one who is highly knowledgeable and effective in communicating her knowledge with others."

10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors assumes a level of knowledge and familiarity with the basic proposal writing elements as well as a level of practical experience in writing and submitting grant proposals. 10 Ways to Improve Relationships with Grantors is designed to primarily benefit those with minimal to moderate formal training in grantwriting or grant seeking, but at least some hands on experience in grantwriting and/or grants management.
