World Rhythm Academy and the Former New York State Assemblyman, Roger Green, present...

An evening of revolutionary art, music, spoken word, dance and food in celebration of W.E.B. Du Bois' birthday.


Featuring

Quincy Troupe, poet and biographer of Miles Davis, the Jazz Musician

The Ronnie Burrage Ensemble, with Frank Lacy, Kelvyn Bell, Lonnie Plaxico & Davis Whitfield - all of whom are international jazz, blues and funk musicians

...and many other special guests!


Proceeds go to World Rhythm Academy - serving marginalized, underserved youth in Brooklyn and beyond. Providing training in global studies and social justice through art, music and STEM. Also, providing the broader community with more cultural events such as Du Bois Night.

It's going to be a fun-filled night of great jazz, funk and soul, passionate spoken-word and visual art and dancing! Get ready for the first ever SOULTRAIN LINE in honor of 'Souls of Black Folk'.
