Web Based GIS - Silverlight, ArcGIS Server

This workshop will include hands on activities associated with displaying of information on the web as well as using services within ArcMap. Topics will include ArcGIS Server set-up and configuration, the creating of geospatial services, the creating of web maps as well as the use of APIs within Silverlight. Participants should have basic knowledge of ArcMap prior to attempting this workshop; maps will be constructed using ArcInfo and geodatabases. In addition SQL Express will be utilized within ArcMap in the construction of relational geodatabase as well as the construction of editable data sets through a web browser. The workshop will be based on version 10 of the Esri software both at the desktop and server levels.
