Web Art & Science Camp (6 Nov, London)

Join us on November 6th for a day of ideas, fun,and and creativity with Hypertext and the Web! We're meeting in advance of Hypertext '11 and WebSci '11 to make cool things together, show off our work, get feedback on our ideas, and find research collaborators.

You don't have to be a researcher to come. We're not just computer scientists - we're part of SIGWEB an international society focused on the art and science of the web. We encourage and publish work by poets, professionals, startup warriors, and academics in the humanities and political/social sciences. We're one of the only academic conferences to publish research in non-linear formats.

If you're interested in submitting work to a SIGWEB conference, this is definitely the meetup for you.

W/A/S Camp is an unconference, so bring your demos, art projects, half-baked research ideas, and your sense of enquiry. Don't have a project? No worries; we're looking for collaborators.

Location: Great Western Studios, London

Ticket Availability: We are expecting ~50 people

Tickets are available at these rates:

  • If you're a currently enrolled student, tickets are £10
  • For everyone else, tickets are £35

Ticket Revenue will go to the SIGWEB Student Travel Fund, which funds travel for students whose papers have been accepted at our conferences.
