Parking: Lot C, Enter on Mountain Street. $3 Day Fee. Walk across bridge and take elevator to ground level.

For workshops in HS Labs: Follow path toward Student/Welcome Center after exiting elevator to your left. Then take a right in front of the Student/Welcome Centner, and walk to the HS building which is where path will dead end (Health Sciences and Technology). NOTE: You must be 18 years of age or older to attend these workshops.

10/5/19, 10am to 1pm - Smartphone Photography:

Here's the deal: a great photo does not need to be retouched, cropped or marked "unusable!" Bring your smartphone and learn ten tips that will take your photos to the next level.

10/12/19, 10am to 1pm - Color Theory:

So, you're desgining a web page, app or cool new tech device - how to choose interface colors that will attract your target audience-makert and keep the color-police at bay!

10/26//19, 10am to 1pm - UX Day 1: User Experience Design

Learn techniques to enhance your WEB, App, and Digital Product Design and Interfaces: Defining Your Business and Target Market.

11/9/19, 10am to 1pm - Grid System and 2D Design:

Whether you're building a web page, app, gadget interface or the next great tech "thing", it needs to attract and direct your target market's attention with a well organized interface, not drive them away, or insane, with its chaotic "look". Attend this workshop to learn how the pros design things that are cool and effective!

11/23/19, 10am to 1pm - UX Day 2: User Experience Design

Learn techniques to enhance your WEB, App, and Digital Product Design and Interfaces: Research and analyze your competitors, learning from their successes and mistakes.

12/7/19, 10am to 1pm - UX Day 3: User Experience Design

Learn techniques to enhance your WEB, App, and Digital Product Design and Interfaces: Writing for WEB, Apps, blogs, and social media to attract attention, and keep users engaged.

1/4/20, 10am to 1pm - Photography and Photoshop:

How to prepare your photos for the WEB, for use in prototypes and entrepreneur presentations-and how to enhance the less than perfect images. Pre-requisite: (recommened but, not required) Workshop 1: Taking Photos with Your Smartphone.

1/25/20, 10am to 1pm - Business Card Design:

Whether it's a DIY design or you're hiring a graphic designer, know the basics of designing & printing a branded business card that get you noticed and remembered! Bring your business name and idea!

2/8/20, 10am to 1pm - UX-4: User Experience – Data Analytics and Machine Learning

This User Experience workshop will focus on Data use in Retail, but we will have lab exercises to help you apply to your own projects the concepts of making use of data, the analysis of that data, and the potential for extending that data use via machine learning data analysis methods. This will be a concept and theory workshop - no coding / programming required.

2/22/20, 10am to 1pm - UX-5: User Experience and WEB-App-Device Production / Building / Execution (includes IX and Interface Design)

IX, Information Architecture, is a component of UX addresses both the art and science of organizing and labelling websites, intranets, apps, software, but also any device. Right now even coffee makers manufacturers and car manufacturers are hiring UX designers with this knowledge. This workshop addresses IX AND Interface Design from the standpoint of supporting usability for web sites and apps, but also devices of any kind.

3/7/20, 10am to 1pm - UX-6 - WEB-App-Device Management, Maintenance and Analytics.(includes CX)

A new entry to the WEB "X" world is CX - Customer Experience. Today's WEB and app and software businesses realize that after their digital business is up and running, its continued success relies on a non-stop, evolving, analysis of how customers are using it - or not - and a strategic plan to maintain and grow those customers through analysis of their actions and reactions across every aspect of their relationship with the company and its products and services over the long term. Bring your business idea, and we'll use it in addition to workshop examples to strategize successful WEB Site and App Businesses into the future.

For decades advertisers and marketers have relied on the same Big Brand strategies, but Big Brands are disappearing in favor of Personalized Brands and new forms of marketing in the digital WEB and App world. Learn how the changes will impact your strategies and work as a WEB Developer or Entrepreneur moving forward.

4/11/20, 10am to 1pm - Develop a Linked In Account that Gets You Noticed

Linked In has become the standard go-to for companies and recruiters looking for employees and consultants, and your Profile composition makes all the diference,. From writing your Profile, to selecting and wording the Experience You Should Share and Connecting with Your Network, this workshop will help you build a successful professional presence on Linked In.



For workshops in San Rafael (SR) builiding: Follow path toward Student Center after exiting elevator to your left and following path. Then take a left on Path at the Student center, then follow it winding down toward front of campus. You will pass Bookstore on your right. Before you get to Admin Bldg (end of path in front of you), San Rafael is the building on your left. Room SR313 is on third floor, in the south corner of building.
