In February, we brought together people in NYC to engage in conversations and workshops about online social interactions and conflict resolution. Known as Weaponized Social, this event sought to re-think the social scripts (i.e., learned patterns of interaction) that shape online spaces.
This spring, we will continue building on these conversations by bringing Weaponized Social to San Francisco on May 16 and 17. We invite you to join us to rethink the conventions that shape online interactions and explore strategies for resolving conflict in digital spaces.
This event is designed to support collaboration between sociologists, data scientists, peace builders, software developers, activists, and anyone passionate about supporting a healthier online ecosystem. The event will take place at the San Francisco Nonprofit Technology Center, our collaborative workspace in the Mission District.
