Event description

Description

Join us for a FREE WE Engage Civic Engagement workshop on Community Benefits. This session will be led by Frazier Fathers from the United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County. At this session you will be part of the community consultation process on the community benefits of the Gordie Howe International Bridge being presented to the Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority in September. Have your voice heard and help shape the future of Windsor! As with all our workshops, you will have the opportunity to network with other young leaders while building your skill-set. You won't want to miss this!

* Come to nine or more workshops and receive a certificate of completion at our graduation *

About WE Engage

The objective of WE Engage is to engage with over 230 youth aged 15-29 in the Windsor-Essex region to foster sustained civic engagement. Through a series of 24 workshops youth will develop skills and create new friendships. 12 workshops will be hosted in the City of Windsor and 12 workshops will be mirrored within Essex County. This opportunity is made possible through the Ontario150 Partnership Grant Program and a partnership with the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
