Event description

Description

Join us for a FREE WE Engage Civic Engagement workshop on Community Advocacy. This session will be led by Sarah Cipkar from Windsor's Downtown Community Collaborative. At this session you will learn the tools about how to get more engaged with your community. We will discuss things like who do you go to when you have an issue about your neighbourhood? What is being done in my neighbourhood to make it a better place? How do I connect with local politicians? Be sure not to miss this!

* Come to nine or more workshops and receive a certificate of completion at our graduation *

About WE Engage

The objective of WE Engage is to engage with over 230 youth aged 15-29 in the Windsor-Essex region to foster sustained civic engagement. Through a series of workshops youth will develop skills and create new friendships. This opportunity is made possible through the Ontario150 Partnership Grant Program and a partnership with the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
