WE Connect Mentor Session with Victoria Flores of Lux Beauty Club
Event Information
Description
WE NYC is excited to open registration for a WE Connect Mentor Session with our brand new mentor Victoria Flores, CEO and Co-Founder of Lux Beauty Club!
After years of spending thousands at the salon applying hair extensions, Victoria and Leslie co-founded Lux Beauty Club, out of their own pain points. What started as a side hustle, selling hair extensions wholesale to salons out of their apartment, they quickly figured could be a part of the solution.
Victoria and Leslie appeared on Project Runway: Fashion Startup in August 2016, and have also been featured in TIME Magazine, Allure, Latina, Univision’s Primer Impacto, Telemundo, Shape, Huffington Post, NY Post and many others. Victoria and Leslie also appear on the Home Shopping Network (HSN).
Victoria is an alum of AccessLatina as well as in the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurs Leadership program and the 2017 winner of the USHCC Foundation’s At The Table: Enterprise Accelerator. She is the published author of “The Menhattan Project”, a fictional novel, which remained for 10 weeks on Amazon Kindle’s Top 100 List.
Victoria Flores is one of WE NYC's WE Connect Mentors - successful women who volunteer their time to coach other entrepreneurs on everything from branding to negotiating contracts to raising capital.
Alley (previously known as AlleyNYC) is an entrepreneurial hub, where teams and individuals can grow their businesses surrounded by like-minded people, and work collaboratively in a supportive environment.
