Event description

Description

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with WE NYC, in partnership with Columbia School of International and Public Affairs & New York Women in Business, and gain insider tips on how to succeed as an entrepreneur!

This event will feature a fireside chat between Nathalie Molina Niño, author of LEAPFROG: The New Revolution for Women Entrepreneurs, and Michelle Herrera Mulligan former editor-in-chief at Cosmo for Latinas.

Nathalie Molina Niño, founder and CEO of BRAVA Investments and WE NYC Advisory Council member, is a serial tech entrepreneur and a proud daughter of Latinx immigrants.

The evening will begin with 1-on-1 mentoring, available on first come, first serve basis and provided by SCORE. Afterwards, you will enjoy a fireside chat between Nathalie and Michelle, who will discuss the top 10 hacks for women entrepreneurs. Finally, you will have the opportunity to talk with experts on each of the hacks during the roundtable conversations.

Simultaneous Spanish translation and refreshments will also be available on a first come, first serve basis. In addition, we will be giving away 50 free books to the first 50 people checking in!

ABOUT THE BOOK

LEAPFROG is for entrepreneurs, of all stripes, who are fed up with status quo advice — the kind that assumes you have rich friends and family and a public relations team. While teaching budding entrepreneurs at Barnard College of Columbia University and searching the globe for investment-worthy startups, Nathalie has met or advised thousands of entrepreneurs who’ve gone from zero to scalable business. In her book she shares their best secrets “leapfrogs”—clever loopholes and shortcuts to outsmart, jump over, or straight up annihilate the seemingly intractable hurdles facing entrepreneurs who don’t have family money, cultural capital, or connections.
