In July 2020, a group from the Center Spiritual Engagement came together as a community to engage in self-reflection, education, and action to support and to stand in solidarity with those experiencing racism in our community. Out of these conversations grew a need to reach out to our larger community with a much larger conversation.

As a result, we have created a panel discussion, “We Cannot Walk Alone”: Anti-Racism and Allyship which will be held on March 9, 2021 from 6:30 to 8 pm Mountain Standard Time. We’ve brought together an amazing group of leaders and educators involved in the work of anti-racism.

“We Cannot Walk Alone” is a quote from Martin Luther King’s renowned “I have a dream” speech which we feel exemplifies our purpose in this time of division and violence, but is also a moment in which individuals and movements seek greater connection in the fight to dismantle racism.
