We Are One Festival 2017 Vendor Registration
Event Information
Description
The largest annual ethnic culture festival in northern New England. The "We Are One" Festival brought together the Latino Festival (founded in 2000) and the African/Caribbean Celebration (founded in 2001) to create a multi-ethnic extravaganza that includes music, food, crafts and cultures from across the African continent and Diaspora, throughout Latin America, and around the Caribbean.
This event address the social determinants of health by providing social interaction and cultural affirmation while building community understanding.
Typically we will have over 1,000 particpants join us over the day long experience. The air is filled with music from around the world and the crowds sway with the rhytm or pulse to beat. The scent of delicious delicacies from Latin America or Africa tantalize the tastebuds. Also, vendors provide handcrafted cultural artifacts, authentic clothing and important information from social agencies.
Come to learn, come to share, come to have some fun!
