Event description

Description

Following last year's acclaimed festival at the Roundhouse, We Are Now is bringing you a first taste of whats to come in 2017.

As part of the London wide, Open Senses weekend, We Are Now is curating an intimate, late night party
- a cornucopia of multi sensory revelry!

BUNTY: Multimos
Bunty landed on Kassia Zermon's bedhead in 2006 when time seemed to be going on and on, making all days incredibly long. So long, that the surrounding sounds were stretched out. And there by her feet... a machine that could collect them all together, electroshooting them out of her mouth as if by fucking magic.

"Her shows transport you somewhere between a fantastical childhood dream and a recurring nightmare. When asked what her favourite film might be she answered without a moments thought "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory- the old one!" J.S Thornton, Beatabet records

"Ha! We have never had such a visual music show on radio" Clive Anderson – Loose Ends – BBC Radio 4

YUSUFLA: Explorations
A brand new artistic collaboration between three disciplines: woven together with live music, visuals and sensory explorations. A fun, surrealist journey into the essence of our cosmos.

YUSUFLA are a 6 piece cosmic chaos ensemble. They are a divine dancing trip to another dimension. Their music crosses so many genres it’s not to be defined and that’s how they like it!
Previously gracing stages at Battersea Arts Centre, Passing Clouds, Kings Place and so many more. They are weird and wonderful and ready to take you to the inner most edges of your outer most spaces.

In collaboration with

PABLO KINO Described as visual agitator on the Tate modern website for the collective video installation "Dutty Lingo" at the launch of the tanks in the 2013.

VETYVER is a sensory agency founded by Claire Sokell Thompson, our alchemic Sensory Specialist. She designs experiences through taste, smell, sound and touch.

AAA BADBOY

Access All Areas is his mission for the future.

A DJ so diverse that he's recorded a Hip-hop mix for BBC Radio 1, Soca and Dubstep mix for BBC 1Xtra, his Mixcloud is everything from Balkan to Irish Punk, from Bhangra to Disco. He launched his new alias at Glastonbury ’16 with a full day Reggae takeover in Shangri La.
His day job as Boomtown Fair's Head Of Music requires even more music variety, so who knows what he might play on this night, but Dear Lord it will be wonderful and will tear the house down.

UNCLE ED WOOD FROM NOWHERE
Who will make you dance? Uncle Ed-Wood-Would. Who will twirl you through cultures and continents? Uncle Ed-Wood-Would. From a desert to a quarry to a hot tub, her eclectic DJ prowess knows no bounds. Neither will your dance moves. A Hot London debut. We Are Now her biggest fans. (sorry Claire)

Hidden performances, covert adventure games, dancing and delights, mini spectacles and a specially designed Open Senses cocktail menu from award winning chef. Ooooo my do we have treats for you!!
