Event description

Description

The WCMA February Meeting will be on Thursday January 2nd and is a tour of Mingo Creek Distilling in Washington followed by dinner at the Union Grill.

Relax and enjoy a whiskey cocktail as you walk through Mingo Creek’s warmly restored turn-of-the-century monument factory. You will learn about the history of the whiskey rebellion in Washington along with the in’s and out’s of the production area with Mingo Creek’s 300-gallon, American-made pot still, water treatment area, grain storage and grinding, barrel racks and aging process, and material handling process which utilizes our 100-year-old overhead crane and a cement hopper. The tour will finish in the Tinker Dining Room with a flight of our whiskeys to try.

Attendance for this tour is limited, so please be sure register ASAP.

The cost for the dinner is $25.00 per person and may be paid in advance with a check to the Association, Box BE, Washington, PA 15301, or you may pay at the desk the evening of the meeting. Please note, because we guarantee the number of meals, if you make reservations, but cannot attend, your company will be charged for the dinner if you do not cancel in advance.
