WCCC Without a Safety Net Fundraiser 2017
Thu, May 11, 2017, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM EDT
Celebrate our 11th year at the Without a Safety Net Fundraiser and Silent Auction!
Our annual fundraiser is inspired by our patients and their diverse and moving stories. Proceeds from this benefit will not only support the clinic, but also help us raise awareness about the issues faced by our city’s underserved. This year's event will take place at And & And on Thursday, May 11 at 6:30PM. Come enjoy an open bar, hors d'oeuvres provided by Great Performances, and live jazz while perusing a silent auction with artwork inspired by the themes and stories emerging from our clinic, professional sports memorabilia donated by the NY Giants and NY Jets, fitness packages and unique New York City experiences. Cocktail attire requested.
How can I make an additional donation to the clinic?
Please visit our donation page.
What will my donation be used for?
Donations directly fund our uninsured patients' health care. Some examples of the care provided include blood tests, x-rays and CT scans, specialist referral care (eg. dermatology, ENT, etc.). Donations received above our annual operating budget go towards new clinic projects, such as the purchase of ultrasound equipment for the Women's Health Clinic, or towards making the clinic financially stable and independent by contributing to our endowment.
A $80 young professionals ticket provides $20 of support to the clinic, approximately the cost of a month of medication for one patient.
A $125 silver ticket is equivalent to the cost of the labs run by the clinic for a month.
A $250 gold ticket can cover the cost of providing long-term contraceptive options to women.
A $500 platinum ticket can cover NYP specialist visits for up to 10 patients.
Purchase of a Gold or Platinum tickets will be recognized in our program if purchased before April 28th. All purchases made after April 28th will be recognized on our website.
Can my ticket be claimed as a charitable donation?
