About the Speaker
Kim Kaselionis, with more than 25 years of experience in the community banking industry, founded Breakaway Funding (www.breakawayfunding.com) in 2013 because she realized that changes in regulation and economic conditions had created a need for a hybrid funding model. Calling this process the Community Capital Marketplace (CCM), Kim designed a fully-integrated crowdfunding platform that would provide a funding process that matches investors with businesses requiring capital to strengthen their balance sheets and position them for additional financing by traditional banks and credit unions. She has been named “Most Admired CEO” (small business by the San Francisco Business Times) among her many accolades.
