WaterPark Musical Improv Presents: A Life Story
Friday, January 31, 2014 at 9:00 PM - Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 PM (CST)
Water Park is a musical improv group based out of The New Movement. They've performed in festivals all over the country such as Hell Yes Fest in New Orleans and Del Close Marathons in New York City. On January 31st, Water Park continues, "A Life Story"- where they will welcome a special guest artist and improvise a musical based on their life.
They might make your dad a woman, they might make up your death, but they will definitely make it fun to watch.
This week's special guest: Ed Kliman, a professional musician and musical director for Shakespeare festivals around the world. Ed has written music for video games, sat in with Duke Ellington Orchestra, and can play nearly any instrument. He'll be joining Water Park as a musician and bringing along his guitars, dobro, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonica and whatever else he can fit on stage. Ed is currently finishing production on his one-man show, Music for Shakespeare, set to make an Austin debut this Spring.

The New Movement
The New Movement is a kick-ass comedy conservatory/performance venue that exists in two great southern cities at once - Austin and New Orleans. We teach improv and sketch classes, host shows 7 nights a week, and throw cool festivals like Hell Yes Fest, The Megaphone Marathons, and the Improv Wins Conference.
