Event description

Description

What is watermedia? Using water as the medium, I will demonstrate several techniques for using Golden Acrylics in a watercolor-like fashion. I'll also introduce you to Qor, the watercolor paint that Golden makes. These are two very different types of paint. I'll demonstrate both of these, go over their various properties and then you will work with them to create at least two and possibly three (time permitting) artworks.

All paints, mediums and gels are provided.

YOU SHOULD BRING:

  1. A roll of paper towels
  2. A watercolor pad like this one from FLAX no larger than 9" x 12".
  3. A palette such as foam paper plates or butcher tray
  4. A one quart water container
  5. Various soft brushes like these available from FLAX, especially the 7 brush set.
  6. Two-three plastic palette knives
  7. Scrapers, paint shapers and other mark making tools

PLEASE NOTE; Enrollment fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
